A./Prof. Christopher McCormack

Assoc. Prof. McCormack is the founding Dermatologist of Caulfield Dermatology and the lead Dermatologist within our practice. He firmly believes that Dermatologists are in a unique position of having an excellent overall grasp of skin health and disease, and are the physicians who are best placed to manage cutaneous diseases and cancers. He is passionate about delivering personalised healthcare in a caring and efficient manner, and he operates on the principle that understanding a patient’s individual needs is the paramount goal in providing a professional, balanced service. To this end, he ensures that the expert colleagues, nursing staff and support staff that he recruits into the Caulfield clinic all share his vision for providing an unsurpassed, premier dermatology service.
Assoc. Prof. McCormack has over 25 years of experience in the field of Dermatology. After graduating from Monash University Medical School in 1986, he worked for two years at The Alfred before embarking on a career in the RAAF. He gained his fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatology in 1996 and was awarded the prize for obtaining the highest mark in the fellowship exams.
In 1998, Assoc. Prof. McCormack started the dermatology service at Australia’s leading cancer hospital, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (PMCC), and is now their Chief Dermatologist. At the same time, he began running the cutaneous lymphoma service at St Vincent’s hospital in conjunction with the PMCC. Assoc. Prof. McCormack is now considered Australia’s leading expert in the field, and has developed the cutaneous lymphoma service into one of the foremost research and clinical units in the world.
Assoc. Prof. McCormack is also an expert in the field of skin cancer, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, and has extensive experience in inflammatory dermatoses such as eczema and psoriasis. He has written numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals has been involved in multiple research projects in each of these fields. As a result of this work, he is frequently an invited speaker at both Australian and international dermatology meetings. The Caulfield dermatology service was started by Assoc. Prof. McCormack in 1998 and the clinic was located in Hawthorn Rd for the following 16 years. In December 2014, we moved to new, purpose-built premises at 232 Kooyong rd, Caulfield, to help support our vision for providing the community with a premier dermatology service.
Dr Shiba Sinha
MBChB (hons), MS, FRACS (plas)
Dr Shiba Sinha is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon and received her fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2020.
Shiba graduated from the University of Leeds with a 1stclass honours degree in Clinical Sciences in addition to her medical degree, for which she received multiple undergraduate prizes and was dux of her year on 2 occasions. Her early passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery was confirmed as a senior medical student after an elective placement at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. This ultimately led to Shiba relocating to Australia from the UK and proudly calling Melbourne home.
Shiba has completed a higher research degree (MS) at the O’Brien Institute in Melbourne in the field of fat tissue engineering. She has presented and published research both nationally and internationally in the areas of tissue engineering, breast reconstruction and skin cancer. Her subspeciality interests include breast reconstruction and skin cancer and melanoma management.
Shiba’s advanced plastic surgery training included tertiary centres in both Melbourne and Sydney. Shiba holds public appointments as a Consultant Surgeon at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Monash Health . She is an approachable and compassionate surgeon whose utmost priority is delivery of a safe, holistic and optimal outcome for all her patients.
Outside of surgery Shiba maintains interests in tennis, contemporary art, architecture and being outdoors.
Dr Friyana Bhabha

Dr Friyana Bhabha completed her Medical Degree at Monash University in 2008, and spent four years completing her basic training in adult medicine at Monash Health. She then embarked on her dermatology training, and has worked at various hospitals throughout Victoria including the Royal Children’s Hospital, Austin Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Skin and Cancer Foundation and Royal Melbourne Hospital. Friyana also spent six months at the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania.
Friyana’s areas of interest include skin cancer management, medical dermatology, acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema and prides herself in providing a holistic approach to dermatological care.
She has published articles in both domestic and international Dermatology journals, and has previously presented her work at the Australian College of Dermatology Conference. Friyana is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Dr Quynh Le
F.A.C.D., MPH, M.B.B.S., BMSci.
Dr Quynh Le is an Australian trained dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD).
Dr Le completed her medical degree with honours at the University of Queensland. Dr Le undertook dermatology training in Victoria at major tertiary hospitals including The Royal Children Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, The Alfred Hospital, The Victoria Melanoma Service and Monash Medical Center. With general physician background, having worked at major hospital sites and medical charities overseas, this has given Dr Le a great range of experience. She is committed to provide compassionate and holistic care to her patients.
Dr Le is a general dermatologist with a broad range of interest including general and surgical dermatology such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, autoimmune bullous diseases, skin cancer detection and management.
Dr Le holds public appointments as a consultant dermatologist at Eastern Health and The Skin Health Institute’s Advanced Targeted Therapies (biologics) where she involves in registrars training. Dr Le can converse in Vietnamese.
Maria Jansson

Maria Jansson is an experienced cosmetic nurse, having spent the last twelve years working in the dermatology field. She is passionate about understanding patient’s needs and providing safe, and consistent cosmetic treatments. Maria has a special interest in using muscle relaxants and dermal fillers for a complete facial rejuvenation with natural results. Throughout the years of working in cosmetic dermatology she has developed a deep understanding of a various laser devices and provides effective treatments for facial redness, veins, pigmentation, wrinkles, skin tightening, scars, acne, hair and tattoo removal.
